Belle Valley Fire Department Auxiliary
The Belle Valley Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary is a separate division of the fire department that is comprised of dedicated women and men from throughout our community. Organized in 1940, the auxiliary has supported the fire department both financially and operationally. While many members are family members of a current or past firefighter, all are dedicated Belle Valley supporters from the community. The auxliiary provides a unique opportunity to support the fire department.
-
They organize and host fundraisers such as card parties, cutlery sales, purse bingo events, indoor yard sales and craft shows.
-
They participate in open houses, picnics and National Night Out activities.
-
The auxiliary’s fundraising has provided for repairs and renovations, as well as the purchase of several pieces of fire and rescue equipment for the fire department.
-
The auxiliary provides food and beverages for firefighters involved in large-scale incidents. A sandwich and a hot cup of coffee or a cold soda is a welcome sight for any hungry firefighter.
The auxiliary meets the fourth Monday of each month at the Belle Valley Fire Department. If you’re interested in joining the auxiliary, please complete the form below or call us at (814) 825-4359 and we will forward your information.
