Support Your Volunteers
It is only with your support that the Belle Valley Fire Department can continue to protect and serve our community, continuing a committment started in 1938.
Hopefully, you will never met our volunteer emergency first responders, but if you do, you will never forget their compassion, bravery, and the pride they take in protecting your homes and the lives of your family. Remember, when you dial 9-1-1, volunteers leave their jobs, their family dinner table, their children’s playtime, and more to respond. Most of our emergency calls take up to an hour from dispatch to completion, followed by paperwork and required reports.
All your Belle Valley first responders ask from you is for support. It is as simple as donating .1% the value of your home. For example, if your house is valued at $100,000, we are asking for only $100 in support of the emergency service we provide. Your generous support allows us to purchase the needed safety equipment for our volunteers, paying for training, maintain and outfit our apparatus, invest in new tools and equipment and more.
Donate a Vehicle
Are you thinking about getting rid of a vehicle you own? Our volunteers train constantly with the specialized tools needed for vehicle rescue. When you donate an unneeded vehicle, you help us continue to learn. We respond to many vehicle accidents each year, and having old or unusable cars or trucks is invaluable for hands-on practice. Ask your tax professional if this donation can be claimed as a tax deduction.
To donate:
- Contact us at (814) 825-4359
- Provide us with proof of ownership
- Either bring the vehicle to us or we can arrange for someone to pick it up
- Sign the ownership papers over to Belle Valley Fire Department
- Wave goodbye to your old car or truck
