Samuel T. Brady, Jr., 88, of Erie, passed away Thursday August 21, 2025. He was born in Erie on November 23, 1936 a son of the late Samuel T. Brady, Sr. and Helen F. Barron Brady.

 Sam worked for Meadow Brook Dairy and was a bus driver with the Millcreek School District for 10 years. He went on to work for Kaiser Aluminum for over 30 years until his retirement in 1996. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church where he belonged to the Usher's Society, the Men's Council, and the Retirees Work Committee. He was a longtime member of the Belle Valley Fire Department where he served as Captain, Lieutenant, Deputy Chief and President and was named Erie County Fireman of the Year in 1977. He was a member, and past steward, of the UAW Local, a founder of the St. Boniface Boy Scout Troop #133, secretary of the Erie Diocese Catholic Boy Scout Committee, a member of the St. Boniface Ushers and Siebenbuerger Clubs, and a member of the Sons of Lake Erie. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Clark; one grandson, Tommy Weidle; two sisters, Nancy Messenger and Karen Gross; and three brothers, Harvey, Gary, and Dennis Brady.

Survivors include his wife, Diana Adams Brady; four daughters, Cynthia Macko (Frank), Suzanne Weidle, Pamela Brady (Scott Rogers), and Lisa Grosch (Dan); 13 grandchildren, Drew, Becky, Brent, and Megan Macko, Rebecca Clark and Daniel Brady, Johnny Weidle, Eric Loomis, Jared, Tyler, and Karly Bliley, and Brady and Shana Grosch; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Sam was a member of the Belle Valley Fire Department for over 65 years! He will be greatly missed by us all...
