For generations, the Belle Valley Volunteer Fire Department has proudly served this community. We're launching this campaign because we believe our neighbors deserve to understand what is happening and why we're concerned about the future of volunteer fire service in Millcreek Township.
When the Township created its paid fire department in 2023, residents were told it would supplement the volunteer departments, not replace them. We believe that vision has changed, and we think it's important to have an open, honest conversation about what that means for our community.
Over the coming weeks, we'll share facts, answer questions, and explain why preserving a strong volunteer fire department matters. We hope you'll follow along, ask questions, and be part of the conversation.
